Job Description

A well known Overland Park company that has experienced a lot of growth recently is looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to add to their team and provide support in all areas including recruitment & hiring, benefits administration, and employee training.

Responsibilities of the Human Resources Generalist :

Responsible for recruiting, screening, and interviewing of qualified job applicants for open positions
Work with department managers to understand what they are looking for in a candidate
Post jobs using databases, professional networks, social media, etc.
Administer reference checks, pre-employment tests and background checks
Benefit Administration
Review, track and document compliance with training, continuing education and work assessments
Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations
Create and maintain employment records and files

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Human Resources
Ability to build rapport with all employees
Strong organizational and communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
