    Join Our Dynamic Obstetrics and Gynecology Team as a Locum Provider


    Are you a dedicated OB/GYN professional seeking a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment? We are currently seeking skilled Obstetrics and Gynecology providers to join our team in Richland on a long-term, locum basis.

    This role offers the chance to work in a busy practice where your expertise is crucial in managing emergent cases and supporting women s health through comprehensive, in-house care.


    In this position, you will cover in-house 24-hour call shifts, assisting with urgent and complex cases such as hysterectomies, ectopic pregnancies, D&Cs, ovarian cystectomies, hysteroscopies, IUD insertions, abscess management, post-hysterectomy complications, and exploratory laparotomies.

    You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes five midwives supporting labor and delivery, ensuring optimal patient outcomes across a variety of challenging scenarios.

    Required Skills:
    Valid and current medical license in the relevant state
    Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
    Proven experience managing emergency obstetric and gynecologic cases
    Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
    Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
    Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
    Availability to cover scheduled in-house call shifts on specified dates


    Nice to Have Skills:
    Experience with gynecologic surgeries such as hysterectomy, ovarian cystectomy, or laparotomy
    Familiarity with emergency department workflows
    Prior experience working in a hospital or emergency setting
    Bilingual abilities are a plus


    Preferred Education and Experience:
    Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
    Completion of a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
    Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice in a similar setting


    Other Requirements:
    Ability to commit to scheduled shifts on specific dates listed
    Must have current certifications in ACLS and BLS
    Willingness to work in a high-pressure environment
    Compensation is hourly; no overtime unless extra hours are required beyond standard shifts
    Willingness to handle travel and other reimbursable expenses as applicable
