- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification
- Compliance with all local and state regulations for SLPA practice, including licensure and certification requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders or related field
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in the field
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive within a school-based team environment
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in conducting assessments and screenings
- Implement speech and language therapy interventions under the guidance of an SLP
- Deliver direct support to students with speech and language disorders in educational settings
- Document and track student progress towards speech and language goals
- Collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and other professionals to promote student success
