    • Excellent training In this key role as Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning and overseeing water/wastewater plant construction projects. You will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of these projects, from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards. Responsibilities include:
    • Coordinate the entire project team, including the superintendent, assistant project manager, and project engineer.
    • Manage and understand project budgets, including cost control, cost coding, and cost-to-complete projections.
    • Create, update, and understand critical path schedules using Microsoft Project and/or P6.
    • Draft purchase orders and subcontracts, ensuring a thorough understanding of terms, conditions, and scopes of work.
    • Develop construction estimates and handle change orders.
    • Enforce safety and quality control policies throughout the project.
    • Conduct project meetings, including pre-construction and progress meetings.
    • Understand contract documents, such as specifications, drawings, submittals, and RFIs, at an effective level.Qualifications include:
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant degree
    • 2+ years Water/Wastewater Plant construction experience
    • Self-Starter who takes initiative and can work without Supervision.
    • Resourceful problem-solver with a leader mentality, capable of managing complex construction projects and guiding teams to success.
    • Proven ability to create and manage project budgets, perform cost analysis, and develop cost-effective strategies.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with clients and team members. Experience in conducting meetings and preparing project documentation.
    • Complete understanding of Microsoft Office software including Microsoft Project and/or P6
    • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines, demonstrating flexibility in a dynamic construction environment.
