- Evaluates patients referred to Occupational Therapy; recommends treatment on basis of evaluation; plans and carries out orsupervises treatment programs.
- Evaluates progress, adjusts treatment approach as necessary and terminates treatmentwhen indicated.
- Writes initial evaluations, progress notes, re-evaluation reports and discharge summaries.
- Participates in the supervision of assistants and students regarding treatment of patients.
- Fabricates splints and/or casts as per need and physician's orders.
- Submits necessary reports according to the policies and procedures of the Occupational Therapy department and Wood County Hospital.
- Must have a B.S. Certificate or master's degree in occupational therapy.
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Ohio.
