- Perform experiments using molecular biology techniques and cell culture systems. Analyze and interpret data.
- Manage animal colonies, genotyping, and breeding. Oversee day-to-day lab operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate research plans and assist in managing the laboratory.
- Fulfill any other assigned duties.

College/Department Information
Our laboratory's research delves into aging mechanisms, steroid hormone-induced osteoporosis, and marrow adiposity. We are seeking motivated individuals with experience in molecular biology, bone biology, and immunology to join our team. Our work spans various areas such as regenerative medicine, neurodegenerative disorders, and nervous system functions, with a strong focus on translational research with clinical departments.
Job Summary
This role involves maintaining transgenic and mutant mouse strains, conducting experiments, analyzing data, training new lab members, and overseeing lab operations.
Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in relevant fields with experience in research or clinical laboratory settings. Supervisory experience is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in research manuscript writing and presenting work at meetings.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality. Willingness to work with research animals.
Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days; Monday - Friday. Salary based on qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, retirement plans, vacation time, and more.
