Grounds Maintenance Operative Location – Shoeburyness 13ph – PAYE 6 Months Contract Inside IR35 Summary: Our client is looking for experienced Maintenance Operatives to be responsible for the delivery of grounds maintenance services and support to the respective standards on the site


Specific duties will include:
Provide grounds maintenance support & servicesDeliver specialist grounds services, including attention to pest & tree hazardsMaintain knowledge / awareness of grounds / land legislative, standards & technical requirements & developmentsPrioritisation of work programme to satisfy business needsForm part of the on–call rota during periods of inclement weather; supporting site preparations & response to enable ongoing safe access / use of premisesEnsure robust application of health, safety & environmental procedures & processesEnsure maintenance standards and quality of work delivered are to the required levelOversee the conduct of contractors on site; monitoring the implementation & performance of tasks allocatedIdentify & ensure all key assets are available and appropriately maintained, making recommendations on improvements & additional requirements to FM / Business leads, as appropriate Experience and Qualifications Full driving licenceProven ability to solve problems Ability to safely deploy equipment/processesManual Handling awareness /risk appreciationPrevious experience in a similar roleProactive, drive and enthusiasm; 'can do' approachExcellent inter–personal and communication skillsAbility to organise / prioritise workAbility to thrive as part of a team and work independently where appropriateFlexibilityPreferred trained in the following: Strimming, chainsaw use, ride on mower use, If you feel you are suitable and wish to apply, then please send your CV to
