Beatrice High School is seeking a dependable and motivated evening custodian (hours 3:00 - 11:30 PM) to join our team This is a full-time position with benefits. The custodian will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This position plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our school and contributing to a positive learning atmosphere. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, hallways, cafeterias, and other school facilities.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors as needed.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling materials.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks and report major repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Ensure building security by locking doors.
• Assist with snow removal and outdoor upkeep as needed.
• Set up and tear down furniture or equipment for events and activities.
• Follow all safety procedures and district guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Previous custodial or maintenance experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Must pass background checks in accordance with school district requirements.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
