    Description

    Job Title: FPGA Firmware Developer

    Location: Canonsburg, PA (On-site)

    Rate: $45 - $50 per hour

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced FPGA Firmware Developer to join our team in Canonsburg, PA.

    As an FPGA Firmware Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of FPGA firmware for defense-related applications.

    This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position with the potential for long-term growth and advancement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Design, develop, and implement FPGA firmware for defense-related systems and applications

    Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate FPGA designs into overall system architecture

    Perform verification and validation testing to ensure functionality and reliability of FPGA firmware

    Troubleshoot and debug FPGA designs as needed

    Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with quality standards and DOD regulations

    Adhere to project timelines and deliverables to meet customer requirements

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in FPGA development

    Experience working in a DOD or defense-related environment

    Proficiency in VHDL or Verilog programming languages

    Knowledge of FPGA development tools such as Xilinx Vivado or Altera Quartus

    Familiarity with hardware description languages and FPGA design methodologies

    Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
