Feldkamp Enterprises, Inc., a Marsden Holding Company, is a trusted non-union mechanical contractor based in Cincinnati, Ohio. We specialize in commercial and industrial HVAC installation, retrofit, and mechanical systems. Our team is growing—and we're looking for experienced Commercial HVAC Draftsman to join us.

The Commercial HVAC Draftsman will work closely with Project Managers, Foreman, General Contractors and subcontractors to ensure high-quality, code-compliant HVAC system designs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Revit and AutoCAD, a strong understanding of commercial HVAC codes, and the ability to produce accurate 2D and 3D production drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D plumbing system drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Develop sheet metal ductwork layouts and mechanical piping systems
• Collaborating on the coordination of new construction or renovation of commercial buildings, translating concepts into detailed 2D and 3D renderings.
• Participation in meetings with Project Managers, General Contractors, and fellow subcontractors to ensure project alignment and adherence to deadlines.
• Ensure all drawings comply with local and city commercial HVAC codes.
• Revise and update drawings based on design changes and field conditions
• Maintain organized project documentation and drawing files
• Assist with material takeoffs and project documentation as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience draft commercial HVAC systems including sheet metal and mechanical piping.
• Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and technical documents
• Experience generating accurate 2D and 3D production drawings
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Field experience in sheet metal or mechanical piping installation
• Experience using Procore project management software
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC system coordination and layout

Schedule

• Full-time, exempt, 40 hours/week
• Typical workday is 7:00am – 4:00pm
• Extended hours may be required during busy periods
