job summary:
Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer III who will support a Synthetic Training Services program. Eight years of aircrew training system or flight simulation device with military/Department of Defense engineering standards.

-DOD engineering activities: requirements analysis, design, development, integration, test and delivery of hardware and software systems.

-new product deliveries

6 month contract with a possible of extension

responsibilities:

Support Aircrew Training System (ATS) and Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) programs

Perform systems engineering tasks

Conduct project engineering activities

Manage subcontractors

Design modifications

Provide logistics engineering support

Assist in proposal estimation and preparation

Analyze technical requirements

Develop specifications and Statements of Work (SOW)

Review and edit technical documents

Conduct analyses and trade studies

Prepare cost estimates and technical text for proposals

Conduct technical design reviews and audits of subcontractors/vendors

Participate in customer technical meetings, audits, and reviews

Prepare subcontractor/vendor specifications and SOW for RFPs and subcontracts

Evaluate proposals and make recommendations for management

Experience level: Experienced

Minimum 8 years of experience
