    Position Description :


    The Network Administrator III is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and management of the network infrastructure crucial for DoD operations.

    This role involves configuring and monitoring network hardware and software, such as routers, switches, and firewalls, to ensure optimal performance and security.

    The administrator is tasked with maintaining network connectivity, implementing network security measures in line with DoD cybersecurity standards, and troubleshooting network-related issues.

    They perform regular system updates, manage user access, and monitor network traffic to identify and resolve potential threats or bottlenecks.

    The Network Administrator III also plays a key role in network design and expansion, ensuring scalability and resilience of the network infrastructure.

    Collaboration with other IT professionals is essential to integrate network systems with other technologies and support mission-critical applications. Staying informed about the latest network technologies and security trends is vital in this dynamic environment.

    Requires Security Clearance :
    TS/SCI position. Personnel must possess a final DoD-granted TS with SCI eligibility.

    Sec+ and CISSP

    Education :
    High School diploma/GED


    Experience :


    Requires a minimum of ten (10) years as a network administrator, which includes experience in the design, development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer networks.

    Must have in-depth knowledge of security tools, techniques, and procedures and experience in implementing, configuring, and monitoring security and network tools.

    Experience with the architecture, installation, operations, and maintenance of Windows active directory, MS Exchange at the Enterprise level, e-mail filtering at a hardware and software level, certificate-based authentication including Common Access Card (CAC) hardware and software, remote access, and client/server computing in a switched Ethernet environment.
