James Madison University invites applications for a tenure-track position in the Dietetics program at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 10, 2026. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in dietetics and applied nutrition. Responsibilities include serving as coordinator of graduate supervised experiential learning, advising undergraduate and graduate students, supervising graduate student capstone projects, and maintaining scholarship and service activities.
Qualifications include current Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist credential, doctoral degree in nutrition or related area or ABD with completion within six months of hire date. Evidence of ability or experience teaching nutrition courses is also required along with coordination skills for students and preceptors in supervised experiential learning sites.
