    This position is for a full-time, 12-month, unclassified, staff position.
    Salary commensurate with credentials and experience.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required.
    • Two (2) years of experience in higher education or secondary school environment.
    • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and shared document environment.
    • Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in admissions, student services, or Banner.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must have use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear and handle or feel objects and controls.
    • Must have physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office equipment such as, but not limited to, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine.
    • Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 10 pounds.
    • Must be capable of sitting in stationary position for 50% or more of time.

    Job Concepts

    This front-line position represents the college to all individuals involved in the college enrollment process, such as prospective students, newly admitted students, faculty/staff, organizations, LCTCS and stakeholders.

    This individual provides enrollment assistance to prospective student applicants related to the admission process, academic advising, financial aid, and other opportunities available at the college.

    Examples of Work

    • Represent the college to prospective students, newly admitted students, and other individuals or organizations involved in the college enrollment process.
    • Responsible for enrollment guidance to prospective applicants of the admissions process, academic advising, financial aid, and other opportunities available at the college.
    • Responsible for communicating regularly with Enrollment Management Directors to provide the most up-to-date information to new and returning students.
    • Responsible for working closely with the Financial Aid Manager to provide front-line support services as needed.
    • Assists students by responding to emails, calls and texts for the Admissions/Registrar's Office.
    • Assists in the creation of professional development opportunities for faculty and staff geared to share current trends and policies in the enrollment process.
    • Assists with Admissions/Registrar day-to-day operations and reporting.
    • Maintain extensive knowledge of college admission requirements, policies and procedures in order to interpret and share those regarding admissions to all stakeholders.
    • Serves as liaison between BPCC Admissions/Registrar's Office and LCTCS enrollment services.
    • Participate in enrollment and registration outside of normal working hours when required.
    • Represent the Admissions/Registrar's Office at recruiting events on and off campus as needed.
    • Supports Enrollment Management Division (Academic Advising, Recruiting, etc.) and other college divisions as needed.
    • Develop relationships with campus divisions to ensure accurate program information is relayed to students at the time of admission.
    • Model the highest level of service delivery to provide access and support to all BPCC students.
    • Attend conferences/meetings related to the enhancement of the enrollment process.
    • Responsible for ensuring current and accurate information is displayed on the Admissions/Registrar website.
    • Responsible for providing accurate information to applicants, students, faculty and staff of admission and registrar policies and procedures.
    • Responsible for reconciling daily Admissions/Registrar Banner reports.
    • Stay current on new processes and/or changes pertaining to student information systems.
    • Assist in graduation Admissions/Registrar responsibilities as needed.
    • Other duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
