    NEURO-ONCOLOGIST

    Opening in Redwood City, California

    The Neuro-Oncology group consists of neurosurgery, radiation oncology, neuropathology, neuroradiology, neuropsychology, and two full-time Neuro-Oncologists. The Program is supported by an RN Case Manager and oral chemotherapy pharmacy team. The work schedule is three days/week as a part-time MD position in neuro-oncology, and there is no call. The position is housed under the department of neurosurgery at Kaiser Permanente in Redwood City. Mainly clinical management, but opportunities for research. Tumor board on Fridays with cases discussed. Redwood City is in the heart of Silicon Valley with many activities nearby (Lake Tahoe, San Francisco city, sports teams) and a family-friendly living environment.

    Full-time annual salary range is $335,040 to $348,600 plus additional potential incentives up to $31,800*. Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available. *Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay.
