    Job Opportunity: Program Coordinator for NYC Benefits Program

    Responsibilities

    • Establish and monitor program goals' quality assurance as per agency and contract standards.
    • Hold weekly meetings with supervisor and submit data reports regularly.
    • Attend agency and funder meetings, maintain staff schedules, and conduct staff meetings.
    • Provide staff training, oversee client services, and ensure staff compliance with guidelines.
    • Document client interactions and progress, manage program budgets, and conduct performance appraisals.
    • Assist in onboarding new staff, be familiar with program resources, and perform additional assigned duties.

    Qualifications

    • Master's or Bachelor's degree with two years of experience in social services.
    • Supervisory, administrative, or contract management experience required.
    • Bilingual proficiency preferred in Spanish, French, and Bengali.
    • Familiarity with modern business communications and public benefit services.

    Physical Requirements

    • Proficient in computer usage for extended periods.
    • Able to lift and move up to 10 pounds occasionally.
    • Capable of standing, walking, sitting for long durations, bending, and retrieving objects.
    • Willing to travel within NYC boroughs and adjacent counties using public transportation.
    • Travel up to 1 mile in all weather conditions for home visits or fieldwork, as necessary.
