    We are looking for a Committee Manager to support our specialty-focused groups (called Communities of Practice, "COPs") by cultivating community membership, engaging communities through meaningful interactions, and contributing to the creation of content.

    This existing position is part of the COP Team and collaborates with the Education Manager. It reports to the Director of Operations. It may require meetings or calls outside of normal work hours. This is an opportunity to work with an ambitious team while making a difference in the field of organ transplantation.     Responsibilities
    • Serve as primary liaison to multiple COP executive committees and their work groups.
    • Partner with COP leadership on prioritization, strategic focus, etc.
    • Strategic oversight of board-approved initiatives.
    • Prepare for, execute, and take minutes for teleconference meetings.
    • Coordinate effective communication between COPs and the Board of Directors.
    • Manage COP projects.
    • Facilitate the creation and dissemination of content such as webinars, events, online toolkits, and other resources
    • Provide project management oversight and guidance
    • Track expenditures
    • Cultivating COP membership.
    • Engage the COP membership communities
    • Foster COP membership retention and recruitment
    • Monitor and report on membership performance
    • Maintain the online community forums
    • Working closely with the COP Team and the Education Program Manager to coordinate activities and collaborations across COPs.
    • Traveling to the annual meeting to oversee COP functions and attend other association functions.
    • Coordinating and attending on-site COP meetings at the annual meetings
    • Recommending and applying improvements to workflows and processes.

    EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/REQUIRED PROFICIENCIES
    • Baccalaureate's degree preferred, Associate's degree with two additional years of applicable management experience accepted.
    • Two or more years applicable experience; association management or nonprofit volunteer management preferred.
    • Exceptional organizational skills to assist multiple COPs and meet various deadlines.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
    • Demonstrated skill in delivering excellent service to a diverse membership.
    • Experience with online communities a plus.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Communication and interpersonal skills – relationship-building through strong verbal and written skills.
    • Project Management – with the ability to concurrently manage multiple work streams and overlapping deadlines.
    • Collaboration across a broad range of staff and volunteers.
    • Creativity – coming up with creative solutions for accomplishing COP goals.
    • Technical skills – proficiency in Zoom and Microsoft Office, basic knowledge of HTML.

    SALARY$48,000-54,000 annually
