    Job Summary

    The Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Svc PRN position at HCA Florida Lake City Hospital is a dynamic opportunity for nursing professionals to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Apply the nursing process to provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
    • Participate in unit-based Quality Improvement processes to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
    • Support a culture of customer service by providing excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external customers.
    • Protect confidential information and serve as a patient advocate, promoting autonomy and dignity.
    • Develop and implement individualized patient plans based on comprehensive assessments, incorporating education and discharge planning.
    • Monitor and recognize changes in patients' physiological and psychosocial status, taking appropriate action based on assessment.

    Requirements

    • Must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of employment start date.
    • Must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment start date.
    • Must obtain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 30 days of employment start date.
    • Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice.
    • Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
