Position Summary

The primary purpose of this role is to pick and build product orders for delivery to customer accounts, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer needs.

Essential Job Functions

• Manage and build pick ticket orders with attention to detail and efficiency.
• Shrink wrap products to pallets using proper techniques to ensure secure packaging.
• Verify the accuracy of orders before staging completed pallets in designated areas.
• Build vertical pallets as needed to optimize warehouse space.
• Consolidate and re-stock product and shells in a manner that minimizes waste and maximizes inventory.
• Operate moving trucks as needed to facilitate order delivery and warehouse operations.
• Fulfill orders for customer pickup in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment that meets safety and productivity standards.
• Meet established productivity requirements by efficiently managing workload and prioritizing tasks.
• Perform other duties as necessary to support warehouse operations and achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

• Sufficient formal or informal education to ensure the ability to read and write at a level required for successful job performance.
• Ability to obtain a valid pallet jack certification (individuals 18 years or older).
• Ability to obtain a valid forklift certification as needed (individuals 18 years or older).
• Ability to provide attention to detail and maintain a high level of quality in work.
• Proper lifting techniques to prevent injury and maintain a safe working environment.

Working Environment

Work generally takes place in a warehouse setting with the use of an electric pallet jack. The environment may be hot during summer months, and peak seasons may require long and irregular hours.
