    **Description**

    **POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.

    Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.

    Work with location operations, Corporate Purchasing and Corporate Product teams to identify and address vendor product quality, performance, or service issues.

    Review requisition orders in order to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications.

    Track the status of requisitions, and orders.

    Compare suppliers' bills with bids and purchase orders in order to verify accuracy.

    Monitor vendor performance, recommending contract modifications when necessary.

    Purchase product based on purchasing reports. Must be able to understand report data and identify anomalies. Report anomalies and provide suggestions for correction or improvement to management team for resolution

    Develop an understanding of the product and where and how the components are used.

    Review reports to identify incorrect items, quantities, etc. and take the proper actions to correct the variances.

    Position requires on floor representation; in person interaction with warehouse, receiving, shipping and production personnel.

    Analyze source of material (inter-company vs vendor)

    Make sourcing recommendations and decisions based on inventory demands

    Other duties as assigned.

    **SKILLS & ABILITIES**

    **Education:** College experience, prefer Associate or Bachelors degree in Business or Supply Chain

    **Experience:** Three to six years related experience

    **Computer Skills:** MS Office, e-mail, internet savvy, Warehouse Management Systems, ERP Systems (Woodware preferred)
