- Content Creation: Assist in the creation of engaging and relevant content for NJII's social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Community Management: Monitor NJII's social media channels, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, and engage with the online community to foster positive relationships.
- Campaign Execution: Support the planning, execution, and optimization of social media campaigns to promote NJII's events, programs, initiatives, and thought leadership content.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics and performance indicators using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social. Provide insights and recommendations for improvement based on data analysis.
- Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in social media marketing to identify opportunities for NJII to enhance its online presence and stay ahead of the curve.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Divisions and People teams to align social media efforts with overall organizational goals and initiatives.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and management tools. Hootsuite a plus.
- Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and trends in social media marketing.
- Previous internship or work experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, or related fields is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in social media marketing within a dynamic and innovative organization.
- Exposure to various aspects of digital marketing and communications.
