    Description

    LHH Recruitment Solutions is on the lookout for a hybrid Contracts Specialist to join our clients Tactical Solutions (TS) contracts department. This hands-on role reports to a Senior Manager and offers the opportunity to be an integral part of a team as an individual contributor. We are seeking someone with experience with Government and Commercial contracts and strong conflict resolution skills. US Citizenship is also required. This is a contracted role, with an estimated 1 year on assignment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Engage in contract negotiation and administration across various programs, covering all contract life cycle phases (pre-proposal through contract close out).
    • Work collaboratively with departmental colleagues, cross-functional teams, and program personnel to establish strong customer relationships.
    • Support the Senior Manager in contract reviews and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and company policies.
    • Foster effective working relationships within the department, Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units, and the Company to promote a positive and productive work environment.
    • Perform additional duties as required.
    Qualifications:
    • A BS/BA in a related field plus 10 or more years of related experience.
    • Higher-level degrees may substitute for experience; related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education.
    • Experience with Government and Commercial contracts, both domestic and international, is desirable.
    • Proficiency in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), especially concerning intellectual property and government property.
    • Familiarity with cost reimbursable, award fee, incentive fee, and Firm Fixed Price contracts.
    • Excellent communication skills, computer literacy, agile negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex issues simultaneously.
    • Leadership qualities and strong conflict resolution skills in a dynamic environment.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • A Master's Degree in a business-related field.
    • CPCM certification.
    • Experience with DOD and major Aerospace primes.
    Compensation and Benefits:
    • This is a contracted hourly role, with a pay range of $55.29/hr - $76.20/hr, dependent on skills, experience, and qualifications
    On-site Work Expectations:
    • Regular in-person engagement is expected, with on-site work required three or more days each week at the primary work location. Travel between company campuses and other locations may be necessary.
    Pay Details: $55.00 to $76.00 per hour
