    As a Director within our Government Contractor Advisory domain, you will be responsible for growing and serving clients while providing leadership and guidance to our broader team, leveraging your expertise to drive quality service delivery to our 250+ large and small government contractors across the US.

    Our Government Contractor (GovCon) Advisory group seeks a strong technical leader to help us continue building on our large government contractor client base.

    In this role, you will help us win and serve as a key advisor to clients, helping them navigate all phases of the contract lifecycle and leveraging your subject matter expertise to solve complex challenges along the way.

    Our ideal candidate has demonstrated expertise in DCAA & DCMA related audit interactions and will have previous experience working within or directly in conjunction with these organizations.

    Creative problem solving and critical thinking are a must What your days looks like:

    Work closely with practice leaders to execute growth strategies while winning and owning execution of the following types of projects: + Compliance and Gap Assessments (FAR, DFARS, CAS, etc.) + DFAR business system evaluations, process documentation and improvements (accounting, estimating, purchasing, etc.) + Interface with DCAA, DCMA and other agency auditors on behalf of our clients + Advise on CAS, indirect cost structures, contract proposal pricing and estimating + Advise on Disclosure Statements, Cost Accounting Practice Changes, Incurred cost submissions + Provide regulation and contract management guidance + Contribute as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the practice + Research and respond to complex engagement inquiries elevated by associates + Provide thought leadership through the creation of knowledge articles, white papers, podcasts, webcasts, etc.


    • Develop and train GovCon team staff and managers on technical GovCon issues, developing effective solutions and exceptional client service delivery and communications Business development efforts through active participation in industry trade orgs, proposal presentations and thought leadership contributions Ensure that services to clients are of the highest quality and consistently applied across clients Contribute to growing the practice through expansion of services to existing clients and obtaining new client What you need for this role:
