    LHH is working with a

    global company in the manufacturing/construction space that is adding a new Senior Accountant.

    Their wild success has been driven by the extensive technical knowledge and expertise of their team., spanning from sales to execution.


    The Senior Accountant plays a pivotal role in overseeing general controller responsibilities, and the primary duties of this role involve professional interaction with clients, vendors, partners, and staff to ensure efficient and effective task completion.

    In this fast-paced environment, the ideal candidate should be highly organized, personable, adaptable, and ready to embrace change and challenges as they arise.


    Job Responsibilities:
    Oversee the entire accounting process from start to finish.
    Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    Perform general cost accounting and related duties for the organization.
    Maintain the general ledger, including the preparation of recurring journal entries.

    Reconcile job data with the general ledger, investigate discrepancies, and prepare journal entries for corrections and reclassifications to prevent project impacts.

    Analyze and report job costs and profit margins.
    Manage the depreciation schedule.
    Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, recognizing revenue, COGS, and related financial reporting.
    Assist in audit preparation and support as well as budgeting.
    Maintain all Rollforwards.
    Participate in physical inventory counts during audit cycles.
    Manage prepaid expenses and various accruals.

    Job Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
    A minimum of five years of experience in accounting.
    Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP.
    Proficiency in advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
    Familiarity with Sage or QuickBooks.
    Experience in the construction industry is advantageous.
