    Department Overview
    Wildfire and Emergency Operations (WEO) handles Wildfire operational mitigations, enterprise Wildfire Mitigation Plans, and enterprise Emergency Preparedness & Response, which includes Meteorology and Fire Science, Public Safety Power Shutoff, and Enhanced Powerline Safety Settings.
    Position Summary
    Responsible for extracting operations data for analysis, leadership support, and responses to data requests. Ensures operations tools & databases are up-to-date. Develops and enhances operational metric database tools for analytics teams. Identifies and solves gaps in data requirements for fast responses to leadership inquiries.
    • PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Manages data projects from request to presenting results within budget and on-time.
    • DATA PROCESSING: Creates automated data routines for accurate data manipulation.
    • DATA EXTRACTS AND TRANSFERS: Manages extracting and transferring data for analysis.
    • DATA ANALYSIS: Analyzes data using statistical tools for ad hoc reports.
    • REPORTING: Communicates actionable data analyses for clients.
    This role is hybrid, combining remote work and on-site assignments as per business needs within the company's service territory.
    Salary range: Bay Area $87,000 - $131,000; California $83,000 - $124,000.
    This position may also participate in incentive compensation programs.
    Job Responsibilities
    • Manage data analysis projects from request to presenting results.
    • Collaborate with Data Management Analysts for data processing and analysis.
    • Oversee data extracts and transfers for accurate data analysis.
    • Utilize statistical tools for data analysis and reporting.
    • Communicate data analyses clearly and concisely.
    Qualifications
    Minimum:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent
    • 2 years of job-related experience
    Desired:
    • Knowledge of utility operations
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Access and SQL or Python queries
    • Experience with Palantir Foundry Platform
    • Ability to analyze and communicate data effectively
