The Senior Systems Architect must be able to meet the key criteria below:Location:

IBR is a federal contractor. Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
NOTE:
United States Citizenship is required as part of the eligibility criteria to be able to obtain this type of security clearance.

Position Overview
Do you want to help IBR build a portfolio of next-generation data collection systems with a world-class agile development and delivery team? You will support concept of operation formulation, requirements engineering, system analysis and design, systems integration, performance analysis, and architecture.
You will be responsible for ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of product, operations, and security requirements into total systems solutions within technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
ResponsibilitiesProvides high‐level architectural expertise to all levels of management and technical staff.
Develops architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines.
Develops system strategy and infrastructure design to support the strategy.
Advises on selection of technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and application or system requirements.
Sets standards for all system components within a distributed multiple tier environment and various other computing requirements.
Provides consultation and serves as subject matter specialist on the feasibility of potential future projects to all levels of management.
Provides analysis related to the design, development, and integration of hardware, software, man machine interfaces and all system level requirements to provide an integrated IT solution.
Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user requirements with a thorough understanding of business and industry best practices.
Develops or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results.
Provides consultation on complex projects and serves as subject matter specialist on most phases of systems analysis, while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
Must be able to obtain a maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance
Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (engineering, information technology, or information systems). 10+ years of experience with architecting and designing enterprise level data management solutions
Must have experience leading the implementation of data management solutions from concept through operations accounting for critical success factors such as high availability, disaster recovery, cyber security, enterprise monitoring, etc.
Must have experience collaborating with different stakeholders to design, implement and support solutions such as the data center team, security team, network team, functional teams, and other relevant stakeholders.
Must have experience with cloud systems.
Must have expertise in producing full lifecycle documentation.
Must have expertise in producing project engineering schedules.
Must have expertise in producing cost estimations and dependencies.
Must be able to work independently and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
While this position primarily involves sedentary work in an office environment and/or home-office environment, there are some physical demands associated with the role, including:
Extended periods of sitting and working at a computer workstation.
Occasional lifting and carrying of equipment or materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
Occasional travel to client sites or meetings may be required.
Work may need to be performed in a fast-paced environment requiring quick thinking and rapid judgements.
Additionally, flexible work arrangements may be available based on business needs.
Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of clients in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
