Classroom Food Service Assistant (Units in Child Development Required)
Under direct supervision of Food - Attendance Accountability Manager, Site Supervisor, and Cook to provide food services for infants and toddlers Food Service Essential Functions: 1.
Keep accurate and true records of Mileage, Transport Logs, and Meal Production Records for transporting food from main kitchen to satellite sites, if required to fill in for Cook Assistant.
8.Complete daily forms:
Classroom Point of Service - Meal Count Records, Individual Meal Records for each infant, and others required forms. 9. Attend in-service trainings and regular staff meetings. Assist and attend meetings and center functions as required. 10. Assist in public relations events sponsored by the center. 11. Maintain a safe and healthy environment. Ensure proper food storage free of pests and vermin. Sterilize kitchen including refrigerators and stove. 12. Participate in training programs, conferences, courses, and other aspects of professional growth related to the USDA Food Program. 13. Will work with children in the classroom daily to cover break periods for classroom staff. 14. Perform and complete all other related duties as assigned. Assistant/Aide Essential Functions 1.
