    Purpose:

    In this internship program you will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience with corporate teams at Eddie Bauer.

    We are looking for an entrepreneurial spirit and someone who can adapt to shifting priorities. If this this sounds like your kind of adventure, please read on.
    Summer Interns will be selected for one of the following departments: Marketing/e-commerce, Product Design, Merchandise Planning, or Wholesale.

    Schedule:
    The Internship program will run for 10 weeks from Monday, June 10 through Friday, August 16.

    Participants will work in a hybrid environment and are expected to be in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.

    Job Responsibilities

    Provide research, maintenance, and support for assigned departmental projects and tasks as assigned.
    Participate and provide feedback in group meetings and discussions if applicable.
    Manage special projects for area of responsibility.
    Provide administrative assistance, such as filing, record keeping, etc.
    Perform such other duties as directed by the supervisor.

    Qualifications

    Relevant coursework in Fashion Design, Planning, Sourcing, Marketing, Business or related retail fields.
    Detail orientated individual.
    Strong communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work in a fast paced environment; strong time management skills.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office, preference for strong Excel skills
    Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor as the company retains the right to change duties to this position.
    Must have authorization to work in the United States.
    Must be available to work in a hybrid office environment for a 10-week duration, 40 hours/week.

    Physical Requirements:


    Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

    Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards and Company's policy
    Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours per day
    Ability to constantly operate a computer, other office equipment and look at a monitor for up to 8 hours per day
    Ability to clearly and accurately communicate and exchange information verbally, in writing, or through other means in person, telephonically, or through virtual communication method
    Ability to position self to reach at or below shoulder level

    The salary for this position is $20.00 / HOURLY. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to position offered and work experience.

    In addition to your salary, Eddie Bauer, and its affiliated brands, offers a benefits package, including 401(k) plan with company match after 500 hours if age 21 or older, overtime pay, flexible work schedule, paid sick leave, and a generous employee discount program (all benefits are based on eligibility).
