Role: Business Analyst

Duration: 18+ months

Location: Torrance, CA (Hybrid 1xweek on-site)

Contract: Only W2, No Corp to Corp candidates

Seeking an experienced System Analyst to work on one or more Application Development project as a key project member for the Automobile Sales and Logistics teams.

Duties include:

• Work closely with IT and business teams to gather complex business requirements, interdependencies, potential risks and issues.
• Analyze business operations data and processes to formulate solutions to a business problem.
• Elicit requirements from business with probing questions and suggestions to assist them in the understanding of their needs and translate them into application requirements.
• Create functional design specifications, business process documentations and workflows, test cases and test scripts for medium to large projects.
• Coordinate the testing process between the business and IT.
• Execute test cases and capture results.
• Assist project manager(s) as needed and coach less experienced staff.

Position Success Criteria:

• Automotive Experience in Ordering, Logistics and Sales Business processes.
• Excellent communications skills both written and oral.
• Experience with relational databases like DB2, MS SQL Server.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Visio.
• Experience with SAFe Agile methodology.
• Experience with large complex application development projects.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
