Job Schedule: PRN

Weekly Hours: Varies

Salary Range: $36.00 per hour

Job Summary

Assist patients with therapy activities to enhance their quality of life and daily performance under the guidance of a physical therapist.
Provide and document therapy services for patients with physical, cognitive, or developmental impairments, following standard practices.
Select, implement, and adjust therapeutic activities based on competency levels and patient goals.
Collaborate with the physical therapist, sharing patient progress and feedback during interventions.
Stay informed about the patient's therapy goals and progress, ensuring accurate documentation of outcomes.
Adhere to clinical practice guidelines and perform additional duties as needed.
Focus on post-acute, long-term care, and home health care interventions as required.

Qualifications

Must have the necessary education level and be a graduate of an approved American Physical Therapy Association program as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Valid license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the relevant state(s) of practice.
Comply with state supervision and licensing standards, with Basic Life Support certification required within six months of hire.
