    About the Role:

    As a CBRE Audit Sr. Manager, you will manage a team responsible for auditing and evaluating complex risks and the adequacy of controls within global business units and key business processes. You will lead the global audit project management office (PMO) and control maturity assessment (CMA) programs, within the Financial Risk Management (FRM) function

    This job is part of the Audit job function. They are responsible for the monitoring and review of financial processes and reporting for external auditors, regulatory authorities, etc.

    What You'll Do:

    • Project manage the timing, planning, reporting and coordination of all audits (statutory and group) performed by the external auditors.
    • Oversee coordination of audit requests for each phase of the audit (planning, execution and completion) and queries with management and external auditors.
    • Track and report upon the audit status including proposed adjustments, deficiency management and remediation process; report to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Development of the annual CMA audit plan utilizing a risk-based approach, including the implementation and utilization of emerging technologies (e.g., future of risks and controls). Assess risks to large business objectives, evaluate control effectiveness, and deliver insights to stakeholders and senior leadership.
    • Execute CMA audit plan including completing planning documents, work plan and reporting materials which will be presented to senior leadership.
    • Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
    • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
    • Develop and manage deliverables during all parts of the audit. Assist the team in successfully meeting its commitments.
    • Develop audit approaches and testing strategies for large and high-profile projects to ensure key business risks and controls are evaluated.
    • Guide the Global SOX Assurance team during their reviews of the company's SOX control environment.

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
    • CPA, CA, CISA, or CIA required.
    • Minimum of 6 years of recent experience in external/public accounting with experience focused on US GAAP and US public companies subject to SOX.
    • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
    • Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
    • Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
    • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
