- Location: Kirkland, WA
- Perform vascular ultrasound examinations including carotid, arterial, venous, and abdominal studies.
- Set up and calibrate ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal imaging quality.
- Obtain patient medical history and explain the ultrasound procedure to patients, answering any questions they may have.
- Prepare patients for procedures, positioning them comfortably and applying ultrasound gel to the area of interest.
- Use sound judgment to evaluate ultrasound images for quality and necessary diagnostic information.
- Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to interpret ultrasound results and make preliminary assessments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ultrasound images for documentation and archiving.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures at all times.
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification in Vascular Sonography is required.
- Strong understanding of vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
- Proficiency in using ultrasound equipment and related technology.
- Excellent communication skills, both with patients and medical professionals.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Commitment to patient care, safety, and confidentiality.
- Minimum of 18 months of experience as a Vascular Sonographer.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced Hospital environment.
- Current BLS certification
- Two (2) positive work references
- Successfully complete and pass a background check and drug test.
