    Job Title: Software Engineer (Angular)
    Location: Remote, open to any time zone


    Job Description:

    This individual will be primarily focused on building out the the client's Design System (LMDS), which is a toolkit of coded components (in React & Angular), design & content standards, and Figma components. We're looking for an Angular developer who will help build out the design system toolkit with new components and features that will be leveraged by designers and developers to improve customer and employee experiences. This individual will also support our design system community by demoing code, troubleshooting bugs, and reviewing contributions to the design system.
    • Work with LMDS teammates to define Angular component APIs, leveraging existing standards and incorporating feedback from our technical community
    • Write code to build Angular components based on the design specification and API, and write Storybook documentation to showcase variants and configuration options
    • Research and implement new features such as theming, icon loading, and Angular upgrades
    • Help triage and size incoming feature requests
    • Help troubleshoot issues that arise for Angular community members
    • Demo new code to community members
    • Keep team informed of progress and blockers
    Qualifications:
    • Must have experience with Angular v14 - v16
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 3+ years of experience as an Angular developer
    • Demonstrated front-end development skills (expertise with Angular and JavaScript, familiarity with CSS/SCSS, HTML5, and Git)
    • Experience collaborating with UX designers working in mobile and responsive web design
    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
    • Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile scrum-based environment
    • Bonus: experience using methodologies such as design thinking, service design
