    Mountain Rose Herbs, a company established in 1987, is at the forefront of offering sustainable and organic herbs, teas, essential oils, and more to customers across the US and Canada through various platforms including e-commerce, wholesale, and retail. As our retail locations continue to expand, we are now venturing into the Seattle area.



    Job Title: Retail Team Member


    We are in need of Retail Team Members to be part of our new store in Seattle. The ideal candidate should possess outstanding customer service skills, knowledge in herbs and aromatherapy, a friendly attitude, the ability to handle multiple tasks, and the capacity to interact professionally with customers in all situations.


    This position offers part-to-full-time hours at 30 – 40 hours per week, operating in a fast-paced environment with varying schedules that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.



    Key Responsibilities of the Retail Team Member:
    • Adhere to company procedures and guidelines set for retail operations.
    • Be familiar with the product catalog and website to effectively assist customers using databases and inventory systems.
    • Expand knowledge on herbal and natural products to address customer inquiries confidently.
    • Stay updated on all products, including new arrivals and changes.
    • Provide exceptional customer service both in-person and over the phone.
    • Handle transactions accurately, including discounts, and maintain a positive store environment.
    • Ensure customer safety, handle theft concerns, and escalate issues to the Store Manager promptly.
    • Collaborate with different departments to address inquiries and maintain communication.
    • Gain proficiency in various computer applications and systems.
    • Maintain store cleanliness and assist with stocking and pricing tasks.
    • Willingness to adapt to new procedures and technologies.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Compensation:
    • $24.21 per hour, with potential for increase depending on experience
