- Oversees the sports medicine unit and serves as liaison to our medical health professionals.
- Serves on the university CARE team and leads the athletics department BEAR support team.
- Oversees the sports performance unit to provide holistic care for strength and conditioning, nutrition and other physical needs.
- Serve as liaison to the University Counseling Center and work closely with the embedded athletics counselor to help support the mental health needs of our student-athlete
- Partner with different departments within Student Affairs in managing the student-athlete development unit to support the personal and professional development growth of our student-athletes.
- Serve as liaison to Residence Life (campus housing)
- Oversee student-athlete events including welcome back and end of year celebration(s).
- Provides direct supervision to selected sports teams if necessary. Requested Minimum Qualifications Education: The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from an accredited college and university.

The Senior Associate Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Services will also lead and manage the sports medicine, sports performance and student-athlete development programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Experience: Seven (7) years of experience in intercollegiate athletic administration is required.
Other Preferences for Consideration (Preferred qualifications) Candidates with a Master's Degree
in Sports Management or a related field from an accredited college or university.
