    Job Title: Manager, Game Day Promotions & Programming
    Reports To: Vice President/ Communications & Assistant General Manager, Corporate Sales
    Hours of Work: As required, Monday to Friday, weekends if and when needed
    Contract Type / Length: Full Time, Exempt
    Location: Portland, Maine

    The Portland Sea Dogs, Double-A Eastern League affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and creative thinker to fill the role of Manager, Game Day Promotions & Programming. The Manager, Game Day Promotions & Programming will help create the teams' annual promotional schedule to increase ticket revenue, drive overall attendance, and enhance the fan experience.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    Promotional Duties:

    • Collaborate with the Vice President/ Communications and the entire staff to develop, schedule, and execute promotional and theme nights throughout the season.

    • Work with various departments to coordinate all elements of promotions including videos, music, graphics, food, tickets, and marketing.

    • Schedule and book entertainment , character appearances, etc.

    • Work with MiLB/ MLB to ensure promotions adhere to MilB/ MLB policies.

    • Create and coordinate the execution of in-game promotional events

    • Reach out to local groups to add elements to community events and promotions

    • Work with the sales team to provide them with sellable promotional inventory.

    • Ordering and coordination of promotional items including giveaways, jerseys, theme night supplies, etc.

    • Assist in maintaining the team website with the latest promotional information

    • Attend MiLB meetings regarding league-wide promotions and implementing events into our schedule

    • Coordinate National Anthem performers

    • Collaborate with the Vice President/ Communications on Email Marketing campaigns including "Know Before You Go", "Homestand Previews", and "Win Back".

    • Collaborate on the development and creation of digital marketing campaigns

    Social Media Marketing Duties:

    • Monitor and respond to fan social media posts/ questions

    • Develop promotional content for social media platforms including documentation of in-game events and promotion of future events

    • Collaborate with the Vice President/ Communications to develop paid social media campaigns

    • Assist with the creation of sponsored content posts

    • Grab content for sponsorship proof of performance reports.

    Sponsorship Fulfillment Duties:
    • Work with Sales Manager to be part of the sponsorship team assisting with client fulfillment needs for Sea Dogs sponsors and partners. Duties include:
    • Attending client meetings
    • Create Digidecks for proposals and season recap/proof of performances
    • Coordinate ticket distribution for clients
    • Coordinate ad copy and videoboard graphics
    • Handle social media content for partnership programs
    • Work with existing partners to fulfill aspects of their agreement
    • Help to identify new sales opportunities or areas of growth with existing partners and new clients for partnership

    Qualifications
    · Bachelor's Degree preferred
    · Minimum 1-2 years experience in promotions or related field, experience in Minor League Baseball of sports industry preferred
    · Highly organized and detail-oriented
    · Strong internal drive and work ethic; willing to go above and beyond to deliver for the organization
    · A creative problem solver and strategic thinker
    · Excellent communication and presentation skills
    · Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
    · Skilled in basic graphic design...Photoshop/ Canva
    · Passionate about providing over-the-top customer service experience to clients and fans
    • Excellent writing and communication skills
    • Skilled in social media marketing
