    Lufkin is seeking a Field Service Technician III whose role is focused on the operational excellence and maintenance of Oilfield Beam Pumping Unit equipment, including overseeing the inspection and preventative maintenance of artificial lift systems. The technician supports the Field Manager and is responsible for detailed and accurate inspections, ensuring adherence to the high safety and quality standards set forth by Lufkin.

    This role demands a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual capable of completing tasks under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor during interactions with various company representatives.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with the operation, and rig-up/down of equipment & tools in various locations, under the guidance of a lead or supervisor
    • Specialize in the installation, inspection, and repair of Oilfield Beam Pumping Units, and artificial lift systems, with a strong ability to detect issues at the time of inspection and report with precision
    • Handle equipment, machinery, or systems with exactness
    • Operate a diverse range of equipment, achieving proficiency as per the competency development program
    • Prepare for remote assignments in areas with limited medical access
    • Contribute to safety protocols, ensuring compliance with lockout tagout procedures and rigging standards
    • Uphold safety regulations, including DOT-FMCSA laws
    • Coordinate with equipment logistics, including crane and truck operations
    • Manage bucket truck aerial lifts
    • Provide support with product assembly and maintenance tasks
    • Lead inspection efforts and alignment checks for bean pumping units
    • Engage in additional projects as needed

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
    • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays, as needed
    • Comfort in working at heights with proper fall protection
    • Capability to carry heavy components of beam pumping units
    • Engage in continuous physical activities such as pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending
    • Availability to work in the field environment for extended periods
    • Ability to lift objects to 40 lbs.
    • Endurance to work in extreme weather conditions
    • Valid state-required driver's license and clean driving record
