    The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support.

    Qualifications

    This position requires the selected individual to either live or relocate within a reasonable driving distance to our office in Milpitas, CA. We are unable to support a fully remote work arrangement for this key position

    We are looking for a manager who will support our mission to deliver proficient, tested, and certified engineers capable of supporting KLA's customer service commitments.

    As a manager in our Learning & Knowledge Systems team, you will join a learning organization recognized by Training Magazine as a leader in the industry and manage training operations teams in support of KLA products.

    The selected manager collaborates with internal groups, such as engineering, technical support, new product introduction, and field support.

    Training operations responsibilities include capital asset management, engineering training strategy and development to meet product service requirements, quality assessment & KPI monitoring, customer training, and certification.

    In addition, the right person will be lead efforts in latest learning technologies (AR/VR, Video, WBTs) to enable learning effectiveness and efficiency.

    This position will participate in efforts related to improving data-driven learning approaches and technologies to provide immersive, blended learning experiences to support learner-centric environments versus instructor-centric types.

    Duties & Responsibilities
    Manage and lead a training operations team in developing, delivering, and optimizing premier learning experiences
    Contribute to strategy, processes, and technologies for technical learning to meet tool & customer availability requirements.
    Implement various learning methods, using different mediums (self-learning, instructor-led learning, supplemental materials, and interactive learning such as VR/AR)
    Measure and monitor ongoing impact of learning operations
    Proactively seek out ways to simplify processes and identify opportunities to use technology to scale and build efficiencies
    Interact with other learning management teams for managing and optimizing all technical learning activities
    Guide project teams and workstreams and influence organizational change of new learning programs, including monitoring of progress against scope, schedule, and budget and hold teams accountable to commitments and results

    Preferred Qualifications
    BS or MS in science or training-related subjects and 7 years of experience delivering training or equivalent combination of education and experience
    Knowledge of instructional theory, including assessment
    Proficiency with learning management systems & reporting
    Excellent project management and organizational skills
    Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical colleagues and customers
    Critical thinking skills
    Ability to prioritize and simultaneously support multiple initiatives
    Good understanding of security solutions and technologies
    Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to excellence
    Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelor's Level Degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience OR
    ·

    Master's Level Degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience OR
    ·

    Equivalent combination of education and experience
