- Analyze and review all pertinent documentation, including plans, technical drawings, and project specifications.
- Manage the job site including all activities, materials, laborers in a safe and organized manner.
- Evaluate project schedule and budget to prioritize tasks accordingly and maximize productivity.
- Understand contractual terms and conditions.
- Assess any potential risks due to deficiencies in the project documents.
- Manage and execute company self-perform work scopes on projects.
- Coordinate work activities with subcontractors to align with project specifications and schedule requirements.
- Enforce and uphold all project and personnel safety requirements.
- Maintain company owned and rental equipment.
- Advise company and project leadership on progress through daily and weekly reports, and attend meetings as necessary.
- Keep an accurate record of time for employees, and submit coded timesheets by the deadline.
- Track, code, and submit project expenses to office management according to deadlines.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with project leadership, laborers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Able to clearly communicate, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Ability to read drawings and specifications with a detail-oriented eye
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office products.
- Motivated to manage time effectively and meet critical deadlines
- Fiscally minded to meet budget and offer solutions to cut costs where applicable
- Leadership that creates a cohesive team on site, both of company employees and subcontractor labor
- Minimum three (3) years experience in commercial construction site work or related field (Required)
- Degree in Construction Management or similar (Preferred)
- Drug screen and background check (Required)
- Health insurance
