Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Deploys Lean Manufacturing techniques in the area of quality, cost reduction, complete and on-time deliveries, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual controls and plant performance measuresProvides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training and development and problem resolution in a way that supports the BlueprintMonitors operations for efficiency and safety ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirements are met/followedDrives improvements in plant operations, manufacturing processes and standardized work procedures leading to productivity and efficiency gains through application of Lean ToolsOversees production supervision staff for all shiftsOversees production schedules to meet internal goals and customer expectationsEstablishes and directs plant policies and proceduresMonitors overall plant performance for production and quality standardsDrives all company safety policies, practices and procedures to ensure 100% complianceResponsible for operational labor metrics, improvement in the Team Improvement Process and OEE metricsFacilitates Lean Six Sigma process improvement opportunities throughout the plant and be the plant ambassador for quality and process excellenceFull P&L responsibility; works closely with finance and sales & marketing to partner towards sales objectivesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Operations Management8 years of operations management experience in a Lean Manufacturing environmentSelf-driven, accountable, high integrity, open communicator, strong work ethicIntermediate computer skills in programs such as MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook are required, fast, and accurate data entry skillsGeneral accounting knowledge helpfulStrong time management skillsMust be able to handle various issues simultaneously and prioritizeStrong organizational skillsStrong communication skills both written and verbalThe rate of pay for this position begins at an annualized salary of $154,000 (for a 40-hour work week) + benefits.
