- Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server instances, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Implement and enforce database security policies and procedures, including access controls and data encryption.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, index optimization, and database integrity checks.
- Collaborate with application developers to optimize SQL queries and database schema design.
- Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in SQL Server technologies, recommending and implementing relevant updates and improvements.
- Assists with special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
- Microsoft certification (MCSE/MCSA preferred).
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study.
- Prior experience with SSAS, SSIS.
- Prior experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure).
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
- Knowledge of SQL and SQL server tools, Windows Server infrastructures, and SSRS. database technologies (Primarily MS SQL).
