    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) night shift position requiring a ME or compact RN license and a minimum of three years of nursing experience.

    Responsibilities
    Work in a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) with cardiac and med-surg adult telemetry patients
    Night shift schedule: 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
    13-week assignment with potential every other weekend shifts as needed by department
    Fifty-mile radius rule applies, and local candidates are accepted at a local rate
    Primary responsibilities include providing patient care in accordance with state and hospital policies under direct supervision
    Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse provides direct supervision during assignment
    Expected to work holidays as recognized by the facility: Christmas, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Fourth of July
    May only work two consecutive 13-week assignments before a mandatory 26-week break is required to return
    Facility may cancel up to three shifts per 13-week assignment due to staffing or census
    Dress code and additional on-site policies provided by facility upon orientation

    Requirements
    Active ME or compact RN license required prior to consideration
    Minimum three years of nursing experience required
    BLS and ACLS certifications required within 30 days of hire
    Telemetry experience preferred
    Bachelor's degree preferred
    MOAB or CPI certifications preferred but not required
    Strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, and team player attitude are essential
