Job summary

The Senior National Accounts Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving growth and strengthening relationships with key national accounts in the generic pharmaceutical sector.

This position focuses on developing long-term partnerships, identifying business opportunities, and ensuring seamless execution of commercial strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Build & develop long term customer relationships with key customer decision makers by identifying an understanding of their business structure, strategy & strategic priorities.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key strategic customers that help identify business opportunities to drive incremental sales & growth
    Leverage business intelligence reporting analytics & tools to proactively identify potential business opportunities & threats

    Collaborate cross functionally with various internal business partners (Customer Service, Credit, etc.) to ensure best in class customer service and limited disruption to service.

    Maintain consistent dialogue with the commercial marketing team that optimizes the following situations:
    Commercial launch of products & strategy for the launches
    Share customer & competitor insights (i.e. shortages, competitor launches) to proactively prepare for a strategy
    Fielding customer inquiries which include but are not limited to the following:
     Price challenges Product OpportunitiesOne Time Buy InquiriesBackorder ⚡ Re-supply timing
    Attendance of key industry trade shows/meetings as well as travel to key strategic accounts for on-site meetings as necessary.
