    Job Summary


    This is an exciting opportunity to join Evolent’s utilization management team as a Field Medical Director in Cardiology.



    • Routinely interacts with leadership staff, other Physicians, and Initial Clinical Reviewers whenever physician input is needed or required.

    • Serves as specialty match reviewer in Cardiology cases that do not initially meet applicable medical necessity guidelines.

      • The following information should have been included:
    • Responsible for conducting thorough reviews to identify potential errors; evaluating the validity of patient claims based on various factors such as provider credentials;
