    Are you someone who loves leveraging data for forecasting and business insights? The Sr. Manager, Business Analytics, and Insights (BA&I) will act as a business partner to licensing retail, brand and category leaders responsible for the insights, forecasting, and market share analysis

    The position reports to the Director, Business Analytics and Insights (BA&I) and leads a team & indirect support functions.

    What You Will Do

    On any given day as a Sr. Manager, Business Analytics and Insights, you will:

    • Lead key relationships with internal and external strategic partners within retail, category, and brand leadership teams.
    • Builds and executes against license retail, brand, category insights.
    • Supports forecast, AOP (Annual Operating Plan) and strategic plans.
    • Maintains a strong connection to retail trends and consumer behavior
    • Leads and may participate in the extraction of data, analysis, and interpretations of business results.
    • Lead development and distribution of account specific weekly, seasonal, or franchise-based reporting for retail teams including data visualizations and performance recaps with high level insights on trending, key drivers, and contextual comparisons to internal and external benchmarks.
    • Conduct presentations and read-outs to internal Sales and Marketing teams on business performance, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Identify and size incremental account growth and white space opportunities at both the Franchise/Property and Category/ Subcategory level utilizing internal POS, market share benchmarking, industry analyst research, and syndicated data sources.
    • Conceive and build ad hoc analytics that achieve Sales team objectives to effectively sell-in incremental programs or rationalize existing placement with compelling analysis and storytelling.

    Required Qualifications & Skills

    • Proven 6+ years of experience in retail/product/license business
    • High level of proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle planning systems (or their equivalent), and Business Intelligence tools (MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI)
    • Experience using third party syndicated data, research, and platforms.
    • Ability to interpret data, identify insights, and communicate into actionable strategies to senior levels of the organization.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication & presentation skills; experience working cross functionally.
    • Proven ability to lead and drive work across cross functional teams.
    • Confirmed ability to lead a team, including prioritizing work and driving high level output.
    • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and business needs.

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

    The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $135,000 to $181,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
