    Summary About the position:
    This position will be assigned to the Delta Breeze Event Center on Travis Air Force Base, CA


    Physical Effort:
    Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.

    Base Exchange (BX), Gym, Outdoor Rec, Library, Marina, Golf Course, Bowling Center, and the Arts & Crafts Center. Responsibilities Works under the direction of the Club Manager. Assists management in the daily operation of the facility in accordance with established policies, procedures and Air Force regulations. Uses computerized Aloha Point of Sales (POS) system to run sales and product mix reports, and update menu prices. Ensures sales are accurate and properly recorded, posts sales, processes credit card charges and issues receipts. Prepares daily cash reports and deposits money on a daily basis. As a P-Card holder, responsible for providing an approved purchase request and making purchases for the activity. Inputs employees hours utilizing the Services Employee Timekeeping System (SETS) adhering to payroll procedures. Ensures customer service is a top priority. Performs inventory of supplies. Responsible for entering Civil Engineering (CE) work orders in the system. Process ordering, contracts, invoices, etc. through the Internet Based Purchasing System (IBPS). Acts as the liaison with the Marketing Department.

    In the absence of the Manager, this position will be tasked to evaluate hosted programs in terms of profitability and customer satisfaction.

    This position will also assist the Activity Manager with all associated training that takes place for employees assigned to this facility.

    Performs other administrative responsibilities corresponding with work assignments and in compliance with local directive and regulations. May be required to drive a government vehicle.

    Qualifying Experience:

    Must have work related experience in overseeing the day to day operation of a multifaceted customer service centered business or activity.

    Experience must demonstrate applicant possesses computer skills required for the position to include experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., as well as ability to learn club-specific programs and software.

    Must possess experience which provides knowledge of cash handling procedures and sales operations such as; receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit and use of cash accountability control methods.

    Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions and procedures. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. Additional Information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
