- School Year: This position is for the school year, providing continuity and stability for students and staff.
- Full-Time: These are full-time positions, requiring a commitment to onsite support for the district.
- Caseload Size: Each School Psychologist will work with a caseload of 30 students, providing comprehensive services to support their academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Virtual Provider Replacement: The district is currently working with a virtual provider and is seeking onsite support to replace them next year.
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students to support their mental health and well-being.
- Implement behavior interventions and strategies to address students' behavioral challenges and promote positive behavior.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to the development of appropriate educational plans and interventions.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and areas of need, providing valuable insights to inform educational planning and decision-making.
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in New Mexico.
- Experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably in a school psychology role.
- Strong understanding of assessment techniques, intervention strategies, and special education laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
