    Our Enterprise Applications Architect is responsible for overseeing, improving, and upgrading to enterprise services pertaining to application portfolio. This role works under the oversight of the Program Manager, and will lead the Cross Functional Services Tower. Other duties include providing expertise and guidance for assessing and incorporating Enterprise standards for the application portfolio.


    This role is a hybrid position with a two (2) day per week onsite requirement at the client's Downtown Indianapolis office.


    Here are some of the day-to-day responsibilities:
    Provide strategic and tactical planning to transform or modernize application portfolio and operations.
    Manage and facilitate communication and technical integrated solutions with team members, other suppliers, and third-party vendors.

    Facilitate communication and guide senior level of management team and City-County agencies and departments with the business requirements and scope.

    Serves as a key primary resource to make recommendations for the design, build, and solution Enterprise standards for application portfolio with oversight and review/approval from City-County.

    Work with Service Tower Leads and Application Services Management team to implement the City-County approved standards and measures into the City-County application framework.

    Monitor, report, and collaborate on all application security vulnerabilities and collaborate with City-County Application Services Management team and Tower Leads to put remediation measures in place.

    Integrate with ISA EA and Infrastructure Services provider's Enterprise Architect to create a seamless governance structure to collaborate on regular periodic assessment of best practices, security audits, and Enterprise vulnerability management.

    Some of the qualifications and skills we are expecting the person filling this role to have include:
    Candidates local to Indianapolis,IN are preferred
    Knowledge of enterprise best practices and standards
    Collaborative team player able to drive solutions
    Ability to deliver outcomes for complex issues and across disparate groups
    Able to work within and stay on task and on budget
    Strong understanding of business and data models
    Ability to apply systems logic and IT strategic development skills to support key goals
    Ability to assess and remediate enterprise IT security vulnerabilities
    Understanding of different values of on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
    Understanding of Enterprise change management process
