- Maintains the AgTech financing program credit policy for operating, intermediate and real estate loan lending programs. Communicates policy requirements internally and with external business partners.
- Researches and makes recommendations for potential adjustments to credit policy based on historical performance and other data analytics.
- With delegated credit authorities, oversees credit analysis, approval process and ongoing servicing for AgTech portfolio.
- Develops and maintains key relationships with external business partners to train them on AgTech financing programs, credit underwriting requirements, servicing expectations and help grow the portfolio.
- Collaborates with sales, loan operations, legal, finance and related teams in the onboarding and ongoing training of new and existing business partners.
- Bachelor"s degree in business administration, finance, economics, agribusiness or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in agriculture credit and operations.
- Advanced knowledge of federal and state (Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin) laws, regulations and compliance requirements specific to the financial industry and Farm Credit.
- Advanced knowledge of credit processing and servicing activities, accounting principles and practices, credit analysis procedures, credit administration, and portfolio management.
- Advanced interpersonal, communication, team building, problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Highly developed negotiating and influencing skills.
- Ability to deal with internal and external high stress situations and resolving conflicts.
- Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem solving, decision making and organizational skills.
- Advanced computer skills, including MS Office applications and client databases such as Web Equity, CRM, and loan origination systems.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Valid driver"s license.
