Description
Oversee the use of emergency equipment such as cardiac defibrillators, oxygen, and suction.Provide training to radiologists, physicians, military Radiology Specialist (68P) students and other personnel in MRI principles, procedures, capabilities, techniques, and equipment.
Receive and review requests from physicians and other health care providers for MRI examinations of patients.Determine the condition(s) at issue and the procedures and equipment necessary to best meet the needs of the individual case.
Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technology.Notify the radiologist(s) or physician(s) of significant scans requiring immediate attention and visualization while patient is undergoing examination.
Provide radiologist the result of examinations and provide the preliminary diagnostic evaluation.
